Natural Makeup Routine (Drugstore)
Now school has started for the majority of us, I’ve decided to show you what I wear if I’m not putting much effort in to my everyday makeup. I don’t wear this amount of makeup to school because I’m not allowed to wear any makeup. On a typical school day I will just wear concealer, powder, mascara and if I can be bothered maybe some eyebrow powder.
So for the base I have the Rimmel Match Perfection, this is a great foundation and probably my all-time drugstore favourite. It gives the perfect light-medium amount of coverage and has a very natural finish. However, if you prefer something lighter I recommend the Nivea Tinted Moisturising Day Cream but a huge down side to this is that it only comes in one shade! But as it give a very light amount of coverage it blends and buffs well into medium skin tones.
I love using the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer under my eyes. It’s a salmon tinted concealer meaning that it will cancel out the dark circles that we all have from getting up at 6:30am.
Lastly for the complexion is the Rimmel Stay Matte powder, which you can tell is a well-loved product. It gives a very natural and skin like look to the skin instead of looking like you’ve just caked on a ton of makeup on. Cheek-wise I’ve got to choose the NYC Smooth Skin Bronzer and Natural Collection Blush in Pink Cloud, these are my ultimate budget makeup must haves and perfect for everyone.
For eyes and eyebrows I would just use a light coat of the Revlon Lash Potion and use the MUA eye shadow in shade 19 to fill in my eyebrows.
I hope you’ve enjoyed reading, as I said I don’t wear this makeup to school as I personally think it isn’t needed as it’s just school but if I was looking for a natural yet put together look this is what I would wear.
