Finding the Perfect Moisturiser for Your Skin Type
Finding the perfect skin care items can be extremely stressful especially if you don’t have normal skin so this blog post will hopefully help you find the perfect moisturiser for you.
I personally have normal to oily skin but during the winter I can get dry patches but they are pretty rare.
So I’ve got to start off with one of my old favourites and this is the Nivea Oil Free Moisturising Day Cream that’s for anyone with combination / oily skin. I find this to help with oil controlling throughout the day whilst still giving the right amount of moisture.
Next up is one I’m sure you’ve all heard of and it’s the Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser. The name says it all, its super light yet hydrating and the ingredients in this aren’t going to break you out so great for anyone, however it doesn’t help with oil and shine so if you have super oily skin I recommend you stay away from this.
This one is a new favourite and it’s the Clean & Clear dual action moisturiser. When I first started using this I could really feel it working. It’s an oil free moisturiser that is aimed for spot prone skin which is something I need. I had pretty bad skin on my forehead I was forever breaking out but within a week or so of using this it has cleared up massively I don’t think I could ever live without this.
Lastly is a moisturiser which was a little of a disappointment and it’s partially my fault. This is the Nivea Pure & Natural Moisturiser. I bought this thinking it would be great for the oncoming autumn / winter but as soon as I first tried it I knew I didn’t like it. I like my moisturisers to be really light in texture and not feel heavy on the skin and this does the complete opposite, its heavy, takes an age to absorb and is way too thick for my liking though it is partially my fault as I should have known that a moisturiser in a jar packaging would be a lot thicker than the regular moisturiser.
I hope this blog post has helped you pick a new moisturiser. Thanks for reading!
